Setting

You may associate a sound with various events in GhostSurf. Some of these events occur when you do something (e.g. running GhostWipe) and some of them occur when GhostSurf runs something automatically (e.g. runs GhostWipe every day when you start your computer). The same sound is played whenever the event occurs.

To associate a sound with an event, double-click the event name in the event list. A window will appear that allows you to select a sound file (or no sound) for that event. You can also change a sound by double-clicking it in the event list.

You can preview a sound you've selected by clicking on the "Preview" button.

Muting

When the "Mute all sounds" button is selected, GhostSurf will not play any sounds. The sounds you have selected will remain in the events list however. You can turn them back on by unchecking the "Mute all sounds" button.
